Top Shots – January 2009

I’m revisiting some shots earlier this year from festivals and concerts. I’ll be putting up my favourite photos.

Above photo Public Enemey at BBQ beats, Flavor Flav was great to photograph never a dull moment, he was posing, pointing and smiling for the cameras. This shot is my stand out photo from the event, I was at the right place at the right time.

BBQ Beats @ Riverstage

I actually had fun at BBQ Beats. Headliner Sneaky Sound System cancelled their appearance, not too many people were happy about it. As soon as the announcement was made (just after 9pm) almost everyone got up and left. One punter took his frustration out at the ladies in the ticket office (some people need to learn manners it wasn’t needed).

BBQ BEATS – Gig wishlist Jan/Feb 2009

New year’s day I’m shooting BBQ Beats, music festival happening at the Riverstage. I’m looking forward to Public Enemy they are scheduled to play late afternoon. Sneaky Sound System will headline the event.

Here is my gig wish list for January, February 2009.

1. Sunset Sounds (confirmed, woot!).

2. Big Day Out Gold Coast Parklands – (confirmed BUT with media pass no photo pit access, still better then nothing).
