An Horse @ The Zoo

Valve x-mas smash was held at The Zoo on Saturday, bands playing that night were: Secret Brids, Del Toro, Sekiden, An Horse and I Heart Hiroshima.

Secret Birds (which included all members of I Heart Hiroshima and two memebers from Del Toro) had four drummers on stage, five, maybe six guitarists (I think, I lost count), a bass player and Keyboards. I would describe them more of a noise rock band. The drums were awesome, guitar riffs were ear bleeding. It was my first time seeing them and the crowd were really into them.

The Zoo – No Cameras Policy

The Zoo is one of Brisbane’s oldest nightclubs and music venues, supporting local bands with a place to play for nearly 20 years.

It’s also been a haven for those who wish to hone their photography skills and snap some shots of their favourite bands. Unfortunately, that came to a close this week, with managers advising that all photograpy equipment will need to be cleared with either the Zoo management or event organiser prior to the event.
